Bought this in hopes of having a mask my glasses would not slip off of. The filter quality appears to be quite good (though I'm not an expert), and the mask itself is quite sturdy. There is an odor but it doesn't especially bother me. However, the fit was so tight my skin was puckering against the mask. It was so uncomfortable I could not keep it on my face for more than a minute.
The bridge of my nose is pretty large and prominent (I think they call it a "Roman nose"? no idea if that's a useful description) and almost definitely interfered with the fit. The circumference of my head might also have to do with it, as I sometimes have trouble finding hats that fit as well.
This might fit you fine if you have a smaller nose bridge or a smaller head/face, but without adjustable straps there's no way to get a good seal if this turns out to be too loose for you. Given the price point, I can't really recommend this mask unless you're willing to gamble with the fit.
We ordered N95 masks more particularly for travel. The size M/L fits my husband well and the size S fits my small face. We are impressed with the quality of the masks, as well as the design and comfort. Great turnaround after ordering.
Great experience all around. Lightning fast delivery by a sweet bike messenger. Love the product--fits well. THANK YOU!
I tried this mask on many staff and faculty in my school community, and it was uncomfortable for everyone who tried it. I also heard complaints of a strong odor when donning the mask.
this mask fits my face perfectly and the two bands pull it close for one of the better seals ive experienced from a mask. ive used various KN95's, 3m 9205+, 3m 8515, 3m8110 and Respokare n95 NIOSH, and from all of these it has the least restrictive airflow. it fits my large flat face (i have almost no nose bridge), but does not fit my partners face at all - they have a larger nose, and narrower face. the straps have broken at about the same rate as the 3M 9205+, meaning that im lucky to get more than 10 hours of use before a straps breaks or comes loose from the staple. i think this could be improved if one were to tape or glue the straps prior to use? this mask has no flexible nose piece, which means it does not work for anyone with a pronounced bridge.
Shocked to see staples attaching straps to mask. The $70.00 price for the pack of 20 Moldex 2200 N95 NIOSH Mask M/L & S - 5 or 20 Pack ($3.50+ per mask) is also shocking and the poor construction quality is an insult to people who are sincerely trying to contain this virus.
Thank you for your honest review. A staple is used by top USA manufacturers Moldex & 3M on many mask models for a specific reason to firmly secure the headband straps in place and keep them tight because, in many industries, this mask is used for the highest levels of protection from any harmful air particles coming in, such as welding, surgical, pharmaceutical, gases, and other hazardous contaminated environments. This is done for maximum safety and achieves a tighter seal around the face. While it may not be the most comfortable but the benefits of having a tightly sealed respirator N95 mask in the applications mentioned above far outweigh the lack of comfort. I recommend a RespoKare N95 Mask for you in the future because it doesn't have staples: https://www.protectly.co/collections/n95/products/respokare-niosh-n95-mask-5
